Hi my name is Alter Boy, I moved to Oslo, Norway three and a half years ago for work in the software industry. When I arrived I asked my friend Nils if he knew any singers or musicians that could point me towards a classical singing choir that I could join in my spare time. Nils introduced to John, who then asked if I was interested in auditioning for his punk band. John told me that they needed an entertaining front man who could sing and write lyrics. I jumped at the chance. Here now on this blog I will chronicle all the shows, rehearsals, studio sessions and mishap adventures of my band, "Kongefamilien" (Norwegian for "The Royal Family").
Hei mitt navn er Alter Boy, flyttet jeg til Oslo, Norge, tre og et halvt år siden for arbeid i programvareindustrien. Da jeg kom jeg spurte min venn Nils om han visste noe sangere eller musikere som kunne peke meg i retning av en klassisk sang koret jeg kunne bli med på fritiden. Nils introdusert for John, som så spurte om jeg var interessert i audition for hans punk band. John fortalte meg at de trengte en underholdende frontfigur som kunne synge og skrive tekster. Jeg hoppet på sjansen.
